On instruction from the Parish Council Chairman, I hereby give you notice that there will be an EXTRA ORDINARY MEETING of Barrowby Parish Council to be held in the Reading Room, Barrowby on Wednesday 4th March at 7.30pm. All members of the Parish Council are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted as set out hereunder.

1.WELCOME REMARKS BY THE CHAIRMAN
2. APOLOGIES: TO RECEIVE APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE AND REASONS GIVEN
3.TO RECEIVE DECLARATIONS OF PECUNIARY INTEREST IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LOCALISM ACT 2011
a) To receive declarations of Members’ interests in relation to agenda items.
b) To consider requests for dispensations from Members.
4.NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN
To receive a verbal update on the current consultation and to consider and agree any actions / options for community engagement and Council communications before the consultation closes on 13 March 2026.
5.PLANNING
To consider planning applications received up to the date of the meeting and to resolve to approve any representations to the Local Planning Authority (support/objection/comment) and any follow-up actions. To include:
a)S26/0235: Land East of Rectory Lane: Erection up to 90 dwellings (Class C3), with access, landscaping, sustainable drainage features and associated infrastructure (Outline - Access only)
6. COMPLAINTS TO SKDC
To resolve to approve Cllr Durand proceeding with complaints, and any further actions needed.
7. DATE OF NEXT MEETING
The next Parish Council meeting will be on Monday 9th March 2026 at 6.45pm at the Reading Room.
