BUILDING AND ASSETS COMMITTEE MEETING

I hereby give you notice that the BARROWBY PARISH COUNCIL BUILDING AND ASSETS COMMITTEE MEETING will be held at the Reading Room, Barrowby on Monday 24th November at 7.15pm. All members of the Parish Council Buildings and Assets Committee are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted as set out hereunder.

1. ELECTION OF CHAIRPERSON
2. WELCOME REMARKS BY THE CHAIRPERSON
3. APOLOGIES: TO RECEIVE APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE AND REASONS GIVEN
4. TO RECEIVE DECLARATIONS OF PECUNIARY INTEREST AND REQUESTS FOR DISPENSATIONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LOCALISM ACT 2011
To receive declarations of Members’ interests in relation to agenda items.
5. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
To resolve to accept the minutes of the Pavilion Committee Meeting held on 6th October 2025 and to note that all actions, relating to Buildings and Assets have been completed.
6. BUILDING AND ASSETS MATTERS ARISING
6.1. Maintenance - To review minor maintenance and repairs from October, and discuss and agree outstanding maintenance jobs to all parish buildings, sites and equipment:
6.1.1. Pavilion.
6.1.2. Low Fields.
6.1.3. Reading Room.
6.1.4. Play parks – Assistant Clerk to provide an update from Proludic.
6.1.5. Village Green.
6.1.6. Car parks – maintenance and to agree opening hours during bank holidays.
6.2. To receive a report from RAGS and review tree and environmental management.
6.3. To review Health, safety and security for all buildings, including fire assessments, de-fibs and CCTV.
6.4. To discuss the prioritisation of larger improvement projects and Section 106 open spaces grant.
7. FINANCES
7.1. To review the finances of the Buildings and Assets.
8. CAPTURE OF FUTURE ISSUES FOR DISCUSSION / AGENDA ITEMS
8.1. To identify future items for the Agenda.
9. NEXT MEETING - To determine the frequency of meetings, and plan dates of remaining meeting in 2025/2026.
