Barrowby Burial Ground

BARROWBY PARISH COUNCIL BURIAL GROUND RULES

1. The Burial Ground is a lawned burial ground.
2. Turf must not be removed or any border erected around a grave.
3. Please be respectful at all times.
4. All memorials, plaques and inscriptions are to be subject to the approval of the Parish Council and all fees are to be paid to the Clerk of the Council before any work is carried out.
5. The planting of trees or shrubs is not allowed in any part of the Burial Ground.
6. Inappropriate or unauthorised ornaments and lighting will be removed, retained for 28 days and then disposed of.
7. Please remove wreaths and flowers within 14 days of a burial.
8. Christmas wreaths, flowers and ornaments must be removed by 31st January.
9. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
