I hereby give you notice that the BARROWBY PARISH COUNCIL BURIAL GROUND COMMITTEE MEETING will be held at the Pavilion, Low Road on Friday 26th June 2026 at 11am.
All members of the Parish Council Burial Ground Committee are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted as set out hereunder.

To resolve to approve the notes from the Burial Ground Committee meeting held on 13th March 2026
6. BURIAL GROUND MATTERS ARISING
a. To receive an update on Burial Ground activity since the last meeting.
b. To receive an update on what grounds maintenance has been completed since the last meeting and what is still required.
c. To review quotes for works received and resolve to approve next steps.
d. To review options for the fallen gravestone and resolve to approve next steps
e. To review training completed by the clerk and consider adapting working practices.
f. To consider necessity for consecrating an area of the Burial Ground.
g. To consider a request for the interment of ashes and the purchase of an Exclusive Right of Burial by a non-resident applicant.
h. To consider the Council’s approach to non-resident applications for interment and Exclusive Right of Burial, including consistency with previous decisions and whether any previous comparable application should be reviewed.

To consider installing a Garden of Reflection within Barrowby.
8. CAPTURE OF FUTURE ISSUES FOR DISCUSSION / AGENDA ITEMS
To allow councillors to highlight matters to be considered for inclusion on a future agenda. No discussion on the content of the topics will take place.
