Online Booking to the Reading Room

New online booking system launched for the Reading Room NOW LIVE!

Barrowby – The parish is pleased to announce the launch of a new online booking system for the Reading Room, making it easier than ever for residents and non-residents to hire the venue. Bookings can now be made via: https://venuehire.scribeaccounts.com/Barrowby-Parish-Council/Reading-Room

How it works

• Visit the link above and select your preferred date(s) and time(s) for the Reading Room.

• Online payment is available at the time of booking.

• A £50 refundable deposit is required to secure the booking.

• Two special booking codes are now available:

  • For village residents: BARROWBYVIP

  • For block bookings of four or more sessions: REGULAR

Fees

• Non-resident hire: £17 per hour

• Barrowby resident rate: £14 per hour (use code BARROWBYVIP)

• Block bookings (4+ sessions): £12 per hour (use code REGULAR)

Full hire terms apply, including the deposit. We reserve the right to check codes are used in line with the terms and conditions.

The Reading Room is a versatile, light and airy space in the centre of the village, able to accommodate up to 60 people and equipped with a large kitchen, central heating, and modern amenities. barrowbyparishcouncil.org.uk+1 The new online system streamlines bookings, reduces paperwork, and gives hirers immediate confirmation and payment options.

What to remember

• Please book enough time for setting up and tidying away.

• Ensure the correct code is entered at booking to receive the discounted rate.

• The £50 deposit is refundable – subject to the usual hire terms and conditions
