I hereby give you notice that the BARROWBY PARISH COUNCIL BURIAL GROUND COMMITTEE MEETING will be held at the Reading Room, Church Street on Monday 29th September 2025 at 11.00 am.
All members of the Parish Council Burial Ground Committee are summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business to be transacted as set out hereunder.

3. TO RECEIVE DECLARATIONS OF PECUNIARY INTEREST IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LOCALISM ACT 2011
a. To receive declarations of members’ interests in relation to agenda items.
b. To consider requests for dispensations from members.
4. MINUTES
To resolve to approve the notes from the Burial Ground Committee meeting held on 27th June 2025
5. SITE VISIT
a. To receive a verbal update on the burial ground visit on the 4th August and the actions arising therein
b. To resolve to approve purchase of maintenance equipment
c. To resolve to approve the Bench policy.
6. BURIAL GROUND MATTERS ARISING
a. To receive an update on Burial Ground activity since the last meeting.
b. To receive an update on what grounds maintenance has been completed since the last meeting and what is still required
c. To receive an update on the consecrated area of the burial ground.
d. To consider request from 2 families to provide a memorial bench.
7. BURIAL GROUND BUDGET
a. To resolve to approve the priorities for the Burial Ground
b. To review the proposed budget versus last year and to add any comments and make proposed changes (add new expenditure, amend spend up or down). To be resolved for approval and returned to the RFO by end of October
8. CAPTURE OF FUTURE ISSUES FOR DISCUSSION / AGENDA ITEMS
To allow councillors to highlight matters to be considered for inclusion on a future agenda. No discussion on the content of the topics will take place.
